Welcome to Dead Alchemy Baking & Brewing, where passion meets creativity in the world of culinary delights. My name is HollyAnne Sims, and I am the proud founder of this unique baking venture. With a deep-rooted love and adventurous spirit for baking, I set out to create a space where the magic of alchemy transforms simple ingredients into extraordinary experiences.

From a young age, I was fascinated by the art of baking, spending countless hours in the kitchen experimenting with flavors and techniques. This journey led me to Grossmont College, where I honed my skills and developed a profound appreciation for the craft.

I spent over a decade making specialty cakes with some of the most talented people I have had the pleasure of knowing. I have participated in multiple cake competitions (where we placed 1st in our categories!) and competed on (and won) Netflix’s Sugar Rush in 2020!

Dead Alchemy is the culmination of my dreams, a place where traditional baking meets innovative brewing, resulting in an unforgettable fusion of taste and aroma.
